WInter Break.

My Winter break Was horrible.I hate the holidays they are incredibly depressing. Our family's Christmases are all split up in four different places and there is constant fighting.I had to go to my grandfathers house I wasn't happy about it because of past history.On Christmas Day I went to my dads house Which was horrible on its own. He wasn't taking his anti-phycotics or his heart medication he was physcotic the whole time I was there while he was in Full blown schizophrenia. On My way home from my dads He had a heart attack He drove to the hospital when He should Have called an Ambulance.We were there for a couple of hours and he said screw it and left AMA (Against Medical Advice) I was yelling and crying the whole time he was taking me home. When I got home that night He called me and told me he was going to kill himself, my ex boyfriend and his family and that he was a horrible father. I called my grandma who was in Texas So she couldn't do anything until Saturday when she got home. I woke my mom bawling my eyes out. He wouldn't answer my phone calls. By the next day he answered his phone and said he was going to a mental institution which I wouldn't normally approve of but he needed to go somewhere to be safe and not hurt people I care about.

Bad thing becuase the search engines are storeing the information that people type in therefore it can be embarassing.

I believe that plagiarism happens alot.Not as much as it use to.

Now They have tactics to stop the copping of peoples work.

Teachers can stop plagiarism by...

• Having students siteing their work.
• If they believe its not their own work look it up and see if its been copied
• And State to them that plagiarism Can get them in alot of trouble as a kid and as an adult.

Why is it important to create you own unique papers, projects, etc. compared to plagiarizing someone else work/thoughts/ideas?

It is Important to create your own information because they are your views and the way you think and that's important its a part of who you are.Your work is your responsibility not someone else's.The information posted is for you to learn study and pull information from and put it into you own words.

Have you ever had or have know someone that has had a negative experience on the Internet?

Hm Yes I have.I have had a bad experience myself.I was on my AOL Instant Messenger.And Some random Guy I didn't know IMed Me. I didn't think anything of it.After awhile of talking to him he tried to talk dirty to me.I was disturbed and Blocked him.And that's exactly what you should do.Block them if they are talking to you inappropriately

Generally I Do agree with the tips.I think as long as you don't give out personal information and don't put to much trust into the people you meet online You should be okay.I have friends online,and yes I have gave out personal information but i have made certain precautions.Thik before you give out your information.

What makes a wiki different from another website?

The Difference between a wiki and A different website is

that the wiki has alot more information and its easier to get to

because anyone who has access to it can create and edit information.

There is vandalism but there are bots who help protect the sites.

What do you think is interesting about wikis?

The interesting thing about this site is that if someone puts information in wrong.Someone can edit correctly.The wikis have more information and search engines then most informational websites.
